Hodder+Partners is delighted to announce that the Welcome Building, RHS Garden Bridgewater has won an International Architecture Award 2022, awarded by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies
Now in its 19th year, The International Architectural Awards are the oldest and most prestigious distinguished global building awards programme that honours new and cutting-edge design worldwide.
The Welcome Building was selected as one of only five UK winners from over 650 projects for new buildings, landscape architecture, and urban planning from the most important international firms practicing globally.
The awards will be presented at the Divani Palace Acropolis, Athens on the 9th September.
The Welcome Building has won 14 national and international awards since its completion in 2020, most recently winning the RIBA NW Building of the Year.

‘I’d like to thank the jury for this significant award. We’re constantly overwhelmed at the accolades the Welcome Building receives. But for it to receive international recognition is quite wonderful for the Royal Horticultural Society and the project team.’
