Hodder + Partners has won an invited competition for the redevelopment of Gateway House and Station Approach adjacent to Piccadilly Station in Manchester for Realty Estates.
This mixed-use project comprises the refurbishment and conversion of the iconic Seifert building providing 50,000 sq ft retail space, 86,500 sq ft offices and a 200 bed hotel, together with a new 60,000 sq ft office building to London Road and a reworking of the public realm fronting Piccadilly Station. The scheme will represent a significant contribution to the urban structure around the Station and a new gateway to the City.
