â—¾ What inspired you to become an architect?
I’ve always been fascinated by architecture ever since I was a child. Growing up in the north of Italy, near Milan, my family and I would visit the city almost every week, and my dad would always point out the beauty and uniqueness of its buildings. I was inspired by landmarks like the Duomo di Milano, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the Sforza Castle. I was struck by the brilliant minds behind their design and dreamed of becoming a great architect like them one day.
◾ What’s your favourite movie or TV show?
Probably The Lord of the Rings—it’s such an epic story with incredible characters and breathtaking landscapes. The journey, the battles, and the sense of adventure are just mind-blowing to me. I’m not sure how many times I’ve watched it, but I never get tired of it!
◾ What’s your favourite part of the design process?
As much as I love the conceptual phase, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the project start on site and begin to take shape. Watching your ideas move from paper to reality is like seeing your dream build itself right in front of you.
â—¾ How do you unwind after a busy day at the studio?
I unwind by hitting the gym and doing an intense training workout. It’s the perfect way to clear my mind and recharge my energy.
â—¾ Do you have a favourite book or what are you reading currently?
My favourite book is Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I just love Dan Brown’s writing style in general. The way he combines science, religion, and conspiracy theories in such a gripping story really draws me in every time.
